DifferentGear
DifferentGear
is made up of two people – Gino & Quinn. The pair met sometime
in the mid 90’s but didn’t start working together properly until
a bootleg version they did of an old Police tune (When The World Is Running
Down) became the surprise hit of the Miami Winter Music Conference 2000.
Their success inspired them to work together as differentGear.
A slew
of remixes followed (listed below) including Jakatta, Stereo MC’s,
Addicted To Bass & of course, the infamous differentGear Vs Sia –
Drink To Get Drunk (a remix that became so successful Sony licensed it as
a single in it’s own right).
Their first single for City Rockers was released in 2002. Featuring the
vocals of Phil Dirtbox, “A Little Bit Paranoid” is set to put
differentGear records into a wide variety of DJ’s boxes.
