According to its definition, “Mycelium” is a set of organisms under the earth in symbiosis (beneficial association) with the organism to which it is associated.
Mycelium’s career as a DJ began in 1997 in New Brunswick, Canada, where he was temporarily residing during the course of his studies. It is where he started to get interested by the more technical character of the electronic music through deejaying.
Fed By the energy of the crowd. Mycelium considers that his role as a disk jockey is to serve as an amplifier. Music being a state of ecstasy and a source of sensations, Mycelium knows how to stir the crowds. The movement and the discs selected by this artist are varied, but all tends towards touching many types of vibrations and emotions. In that sense, his music is not static. It is adapted to the energy reflected by the people present at the gig and is geared to make the crowd travel with his great musicality.
Several producers inspire him and some reproduce a sound, which matches his tastes like Samuel L Session, Gaetano Pariso, Häkan Lidbo and McArthur. He know that in a near future, He will want to produce his own music, but for the moment He still appreciate and admire too much the labels of the plates in rotation.

Resident of Quebec City (Canada), where he practices his art. He offered his experimentation for diverse canadian events such as: Tribal 3, Spring Break 3, the Cube, the Sphinx and Notre dame after hours, The Soñar, he organized and promoted events on the canadian east coat, and played for many different clubs in Canada. In 2003, Mycelium will tour Mexico and the UK.
